A magister is a living deity among destitute clans and even among the most influential clans they are treated as nobility. Archmages, however, are an entirely different breed of spellcaster that a draconian can live for thousands of years and still not have been graced by the presence of one.
Their abilities are considered myth and legend. Many spell users can not accept that the powers that they wield are nothing more than parlor tricks compared to the archmages. The stories surrounding these powerful creatures were born during the 2nd Draconian Civil War.
